Past & Present
Established in Montreal in 1925,
this bilingual, short-term acute care
hospital provides ultra-specialized
orthopedic care to children from
coast to coast in Canada, the U.S.
and around the world.
Our activities are guided by the principles of love, and the desire to bring relief to children affected by cancer and their families. Over the years, the Foundation mission has adapted to where the needs are greatest.
The West Island Women’s Shelter’s works for social change, aiming at the elimination of conjugal violence and its impact on women and their children.
Many young people struggle with societal barriers and face adversities such as mental health issues, family violence, identity issues or poor living conditions. BBBS programs help youth to thrive, be healthy and achieve more.
Founded in 1982, WIBCA is a volunteer-run, charity that is dedicated to serving the youth, adults, and seniors of the English- speaking Black community of the West Island by offering educational programming and support.
WIAIH is a volunteer-driven, non-profit organization that works to increase opportunities for individuals with intellectual disabilities or autism, strengthen their families and sensitize the community.
Cure SMA provides support to patients and families affected by spinal muscular atrophy by funding and directing research leading the way to a cure for SMA.
Lymphoma Canada connects patients, their families and friends, medical professionals, researchers, volunteers, and donors to build a strong lymphoma community. One that conducts research to learn lymphoma’s causes, to develop better treatments and to find a cure.
We help kids of all ages regardless of disability, injury or illness because what happens in childhood lasts a lifetime.
