Sylvain Côté is the Senior Manager at FCA Canada, Quebec Business Center Operations, which overseas the 92 dealerships of the brands Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram, the 37 FIAT dealerships as well as the 4 Alfa Romeo dealerships in the province of Quebec.
University of Sherbrooke graduate in Finance, he has over 30 years of experience in the Canadian automotive industry.
After starting his career in the financial sector with GMAC, he did not hesitate to take on new professional challenges as Quebec Operations Manager at Mercedes-Benz Credit. After the merger of Mercedes-Benz and Chrysler in 1998, he moved his family to Windsor, Ontario in 2000 to launch and manage the lease maturity department. This experience brought him to join the ranks of Chrysler Canada to manage the production planning, as well as the industry and sales projections for the company that is now FCA Canada.
After 18 successful years at the Canadian head office in Windsor, Ontario, he has built strong relationships with several executives of the Canadian and American head offices. He is happy to be back in Quebec and more specifically in the West Island of Montreal where he has several friends.
He appreciates the value of partnerships, not only with the FCA dealerships with whom he works in close collaboration but also with the community in which he interacts daily.
Professionally accomplished, his wife and he are proud parents of two young engineers who also work in the automotive sector in the United States while proudly keeping their roots and bilingualism.
